As many of you will already be aware, my partner (Christie Elan-Cane) has been campaigning tirelessly for the legal and social recognition of non-gendered people.  I can testify that progress was difficult at first, but there are growing signs that the human rights of non gendered people are being taken seriously, here in the UK, the EU, and several countries around the world.  Christie has played a major part in raising awareness.

When Christie first started on the campaign, neither of us believed (but hoped otherwise) that there would be any real sign of progress until many, many years had passed.  Well now we have been proved wrong(☻☻)!

So the new UK government are seriously looking into the prospect of making changes that respects the human rights of non gendered individuals.  Christie will of course be involved in discussions with government officials.  I was so pleased to hear about this.  It’s wonderful news.

That is really, really cool.

Indeed it is. Thank you.

It IS wonderful news. Well done!

I'd like to think we can live in a world where people have rights regardless of gender/non-gender, sexual preference... It blows my mind that women and non-whites couldn't vote in America not so long ago.

I don't think it'll be much longer. Once it hits critical mass, progress will be impossible to stop.

I think what bothers me the most is people who are opposed to it. I just don't get it. But one person "for" something is mightier than 1000 who are "against".

Thank you.

You're right. Now that this is beginning to be discussed more widely, change is inevitable.
